Wine: Lucien Jacob 2008 Gevrey –Chambertin “En Songe” AOC.Date: 26 March 2011
Appearance: Clear , Bright, TypicalBurgundy Colour. Left tears in the glass.
Nose: Clean, Youthful, Pronounced aroma of Cherry and Red fruits.
Palate: Dry, Medium plus tannins , Tannins have not yet ripened,Medium Body, Medium Alcohol,
Complex and Pronounced flavours of Cherry and Plums. Spices and Liquorice.
Savoury flavours.
Well integrated. Long length.
Other observations: Good plus quality. This wine should be cellared as it should improve in the bottle and the fruit flavour should reveal itself more. Typical wine of the Côte de Nuits. Drink with good food.
Price: Obtained from the Vineyard. Typical price would be around EUR 28-00
